Data science has the potential to transform medical research, patient care, and reduce healthcare costs. Healthcare infrastructures across Europe have rapidly digitalized, creating an ideal environment for data science solutions. However, the impact of these solutions on clinical care depends on the knowledge and trust of healthcare professionals in data science, as well as the quality of solution development and testing. Healthcare professionals in Europe generally lack training in data science, and there is limited collaboration between academia and industry data science experts. The overarching goal of DataClinic is to facilitate collaboration between healthcare professionals and data science experts to enhance clinical care through routine care data analysis.
